We are pleased to present our 2012 Annual Report.
NEKCA Programs at Newport Home Show
Here are some photos of the great time we had showing off our programs while meeting and greeting the community members that came to IROC to the Newport Home Show.
We had a raffle with prize baskets for youth, adults and children and many people filled out a community needs assessment survey for Head Start while they were filling out their door prize information. Stephanie Bowen brought her drunk goggles for folks to put on to see what happens to perception when your blood alcohol content goes from .08 to .25. We had many people stop by to meet with us.
Many thanks to the staff who helped with this including Linda Michniewicz, Ann Sparrow and Courtney Porter from Head Start; Kathy Metras and Kathy Beauvais from Youth Services and Outreach; and Stephanie Bowen and Amy Snider from Community Justice Programs.

St. Johnsbury Head Start families and supporters mobilize against the sequester to preserve vital services for 100 at-risk children.
The future of more than 100 children hangs in the balance as the automatic funding cuts caused by sequestration are forcing Head Start programs to cut enrollment and services.
